     CARIBOU — Jeannine M. Fortin, 79, wife of the late Louis Fortin, passed away October 11, 2015, at Caribou. She was born in Lille, March 15, 1936, the daughter of the late Damas and Melvina (Vaillancourt) Godin.

     Mrs. Fortin was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and on June 24, 1957, she married the love of her life, Louis Fortin and they enjoyed nearly 57 wonderful years of marriage until his passing June 20, 2014.

     She is survived by her son, Louis Fortin Jr. and his wife, Crystle Bell of Kennebunkport; one brother, Armand Godin; one sister, Debbie Chabre both of Caribou; her special grand- children, Joshua, Jill and Jon Fortin; her beautiful great grand-daughter Trinnity Hall; and serveral nieces and nephews.

     Friends may call at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou, 6-8 p.m., Thursday, October 15, 2015 and from 10:00 a.m. Friday until time of services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be cel- ebrated 11:00 a.m. from the Parish of the Precious Blood, Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
