CARIBOU — Xavier F. Bosse, 83, passed away October 8, 2015 at a Bangor healthcare facility. He was born June 3, 1932 in Saint-Jacques, NB, the son of the late Fidele and Euphemie (Martin) Bosse. Mr. Bosse was a lifetime member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a Fourth degree member of the Fred V. Brescia Council 1870 Knights of Columbus. Xavier worked for Cyr construction for many years. He was proud of the work he oversaw including three local McDonalds stores, IGA in Caribou and Presque Isle, Caribou Cinema, the Houlton Jail Renovation as well as many other local building projects.

Surviving in addition to his beloved wife of over 59 years, Aline (Sirois) Bosse of Caribou, are three sons, Daniel and wife Kathy, Marcel and wife Nancy all of Caribou, and Mario and wife Tracey of Limerick, a daughter, Chantal Wagner and husband Randy of Shippensburg, PA, six grandchildren, Christine Allen and husband Jason, Derek Bosse and wife Jayna, Janet Bosse and significant other Jason Theriault, Lindsey Weibley and husband Marcus, Courtney Bosse and Brandon Bosse, four great-grandchildren, Xavier F. Allen, Parker Bosse, Damian Theriault and Colton Weibley, two brothers, Gerald and Martin Bosse and one sister, Theresa LaRoche all of Montreal, Canada, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one brother, Gilbert Bosse.
Friends called the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, October 12, 2015. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated from the Parish of the Precious Blood Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 11 a.m. on Tuesday. A time of continued fellowship and refreshments was held at the Parish hall following the service. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, North Caribou.
