HOULTON, Maine — On Tuesday, Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., a Stream Smart Phase II technical workshop will be held at the Houlton Fire Department at 99 Military St. in Houlton.
This workshop is designed for participants to learn how to assess a road/stream crossing and gather the information needed to develop a conceptual design for an open bottom stream crossing. The workshop will also include a hands-on field portion. The Stream Smart workshop is designed to provide training for professionals responsible for road/stream crossings.

Continuing education credits are available for DEP’s certified contractors, licensed professional foresters, and QLP. Cost of workshop is $35.
