PRESQUE ISLE, Maine — The Central Aroostook Soil and Water Conservation District will host Soil Health Field Day Friday, Oct. 30, at Porter Farms, 133 State Rd., Presque Isle.
The event is sponsored by McCain Foods and is slated from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Various workshops will be featured; pesticide credits may be available.
Workshops will focus on crop rotation, soil health/fertility management, soil health practices in The County and crop management, and McCain and USDA-NCRS soil health practices, among others.
