ISLAND FALLS, Maine — A public forum on the proposed consolidation plans for RSU 50 involving Southern Aroostook Community School and Katahdin Middle-High School will be held Monday, Nov. 9 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Island Falls Municipal Building.
Members of the public are encouraged to come to this meeting and voice any concerns they may have with the district’s proposal of closing KMHS and sending grades 9-12 to SACS and grades 7-8 to Katahdin Elementary School.
The regular monthly board meeting will follow at 6:30 p.m.
