Winter programs

     Basketball and cheering programs are being offered at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center. Grades 3-4 begun last week and the program goes until Dec. 18, 2015 meeting Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 3-4:30 p.m.

     Grades 5-6 boys and grades 4-6 girls begin the first week of January 2016 and run through mid-March. The boys’ programs meets from 3-5 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and some Fridays and the girls at the same time Mondays, Wednesdays and some Fridays.

     Cheering also began last week and runs through mid-March. It is held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-5 p.m.

     The fee is $10 for residents and $25 for non-residents.

     The ski daddle program is for grades 3-5 and begins Jan. 8, 2016. It meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3-4:30 p.m. with the same registration fees.

Take It Outside fall series

     Take It Outside Series programs this month include indoor container gardening Thursday, Nov. 12 and a bird feeder building workshop Tuesday, Nov. 17.

     Pre-registration is required. For more information, go to caribourec.org or pick up a brochure at the Caribou Wellness and Recreation Center. Trips will continue through November.

CPR/AED and First Aid training

     A class will be offered Nov. 21 from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the wellness and recreation center. The fee is $35 per person and pre-registration is required.
