Katahdin names Doak new branch manager
HOULTON — Bonnie Foster, senior vice president of retail services at Katahdin Trust, has announced the promotion of Janet Doak to branch manager and retail services officer.
Janet Doak will be responsible for retail lending, business development, and the daily branch management of the Bank’s offices in Ashland and Washburn. 
“I am pleased to announce Janet’s well-deserved promotion,” Foster said. “She has been an invaluable employee that has demonstrated a strong commitment to the customers served by our Presque Isle office. Our customers will continue to benefit from her strong commitment to customer service excellence as she assumes this new role.”
Doak has been in the banking industry for over 25 years. She joined Katahdin Trust in 2005 as a retail services assistant and in 2007 moved into the position of customer service representative in Presque Isle.
She graduated from Washburn District High School and obtained an associate degree in business administration from Husson University. Doak has also received a General Banking Diploma from the Center for Financial Training and Education Alliance (CFTEA) and recently attended the Northern New England School of Banking to further her professional growth.
She has been active in a number of community events for Katahdin Trust, most recently serving as a volunteer for Junior Achievement of Maine and March of Dimes.
Doak resides in Washburn with her two children, Carter and Janelle.
