NEW SWEDEN — The New Sweden Covenant Church invites everyone to join them for their annual Christmas fair and lunch on Saturday, Nov. 21, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the church, 40 Westmanland Road in New Sweden.
The fair is the primary fundraising project for the church, with a portion of the proceeds helping to fund mission initiatives locally and around the world. Items available for purchase include Swedish baked goods, pies, cookies, wreaths made by members of the congregation, Christmas ornaments, handcrafted gifts and collectibles.
Lunch will be available beginning at 11 a.m.
The New Sweden Covenant Church was founded in 1886 by Swedish immigrants. The congregation has gathered for worship in the same sanctuary since 1892. The church is a member of the Evangelical Covenant Church, a denomination of more than 800 congregations in the United States and Canada.
