HOULTON — Kevin Lowell Hersey, Sr., 52, gained his angel wings Friday, Nov. 6, 2015, at Houlton Regional 
Hospital. He was born August 30, 1962 to Carroll and Gloria (Noyes) Hersey. Kevin was a devoted, loving dad, grampie, wonderful brother and best friend.
Kevin lived and worked in Jacksonville, NC, in heavy equipment, retiring a foreman due to cancer. He beat can- cer, passing with hereditary hemochromatosis.
He is survived by his beloved children, Monica Hersey and Kevin Hersey, Jr.; beloved grandchildren, Chleo and Anthony, children of Monica. Also, he is survived by his ex-wife, good friend and mother of his children, Wendy Paradis, all of Harrisville, Rhode Island, leaving a whole family on Wendy’s side in Jacksonville, who took care of him there. He returned to Houlton to be close to his brother and sisters here.
He is survived by his best buddy and brother, Chris Hersey of Houlton, sisters, Elena Alden of Las Vegas, Nevada, Carolee Slauenwhite (Charlie) of Dyer Brook,
Sherry E m e r y (Brad) of Island Falls, Leanna Hersey (friend, Marvin) of Houlton, Amber White (Russ) of Winthrop; many special nieces
and nephews who love him dearly; too many friends to list. Also, his best friend, cancer men- tor, traveling long miles often, Tottie Britton and fiancé, Kenneth Porter, of West Newfield. As well as his, and our, dear friend who cleaned, ran errands, did everything to help his children, Linda Hisco of Houlton.
Many thanks to our dear family who brought us food, the nurses and doctors who fought to save him.
