CARIBOU, Maine — Caribou High School held its fall sports awards night Nov. 9, 2015 with soccer players, golfers and cross country runners all honored for their participation.
Athletes named most valuable players in their respective sports were: Donovan Savage, varsity golf; Michael Hunter, boys varsity soccer; Maddie Doucette, girls varsity soccer; Chathu Karunasiri, boys varsity cross country; Nick Alfaro, boys JV cross country; Julia Page, girls varsity cross country; Maren Moir, girls JV cross country; Liam McMillon, boys JV soccer; and Danielle Daponte, girls JV soccer.
Two athletes earned letter sweaters for either accumulating three varsity letters in two different sports or a total of seven varsity letters. The recipients were Doucette and Jenna Boucher.
Coach Andrew Kirby presented letters to the following members of the girls JV soccer team: Erin Jandreau, Sierra Ouellette, Kara Madore, Jasmine Olson, Danielle Daponte, Olivia Picard, Monica McLaughlin, Abbie Caron, Mariah Mink, Taylor Devoe, Tiahna Cyr, Rachel Soucy, Hollie McDougal, Kaytlin Waldemarson, Crissy Corbin, Alyssa Saucier, Riley McNeal, Cassidy Stevens and managers Jessica Limary and Moriah Connolly.
