The Island Falls Senior Citizens met at the municipal building Nov. 19 with 22 members and four guests present.
A traditional Thanksgiving meal of turkey and all the “fixins’” plus an assortment of homemade pies was served to an appreciative group.
After the dinner, the business meeting was opened by the president, Rich Camire. Members discussed the Christmas party on Dec. 17 and decided to have an assortment of finger foods and to do a “Yankee swap.”
After the meeting adjourned, we played several games of Bingo with Rich, Mary Lawler and Louise Butcher sharing the winner’s prize.
Members present were Paige Coville, Leon and Judy Botting, Jeanne Clements, Ellie Peck, Gloria Noyes, Iona Nadeau, Rich Camire, Louise Butcher, Helen Sherman, Dennis Boone, Verna Boone, Marilyn Noyes, Ruth Frazier, Edith Dwyer, Mary Lawler, Mary Pipes, Darlene Hartin, Darrell and Sherry Hartin, Ursula Levesque and Terry Dwyer. Guests were Claudette Dietrich, David Dionne, Patti Hartin and Jutta Beyer.
The next meeting will be Dec. 3, and members will play “the game.”
