PRESQUE ISLE – Shirley E. Ouellet, 79, passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon November 22, 2015, at a Presque Isle health care facility. She was born August 8, 1936, in Presque Isle, the daughter of Tom and Eva (Duplessis) Gardiner. She loved Christmas, enjoyed decorating her apartment.
She is survived by two brothers, Donald and Fred Gardiner of Presque Isle; three sisters, Joanne Madore, a special sister who lived close by, and Jean McIntyre, both of Presque Isle, and Carline Ireland of Florida; and a special niece, Betty Holder and her husband, Jack of Mapleton. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Ouellet in 2013.
A graveside service will be held 10 a.m., Friday. Nov. 27, 2015, at North Main Street Catholic Cemetery, Presque Isle, with Rev. Alexander Marie Doss officiating. Online condolences may be shared at www.duncan-graves.com.
