There will be a meeting of the USDA and Central Aroostook Soil and Water Conservation District local working group on Wednesday, Dec. 9, from 4-6 p.m. at the USDA Service Center Conference Room, 735 Main St., Presque Isle.
The meeting is open to the public.
Local working groups provide recommendations to the district conservationist of the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service on local natural resource priorities and criteria for conservation activities and programs. Topics of discussion include funding, conservation priorities from the work group, and local input as to what our conservation priorities should be for future natural resource programs.
