FARLEY, Richard J., 81, WASHBURN, November 10, 2015. A memorial service was held November 29, in Dundee, Florida.
WASHBURN – Richard J. Farley passed away with family by his side on November 10, 2015. Richard was born May 7, 1934, in Woodland, ME, to John and Jenny (Pike) Farley. Richard married Phyllis M. Wilder in August 1956. 
After serving two and a half years in the Army, Richard returned to Washburn and started working for Maine Public Service out of Presque Isle, (37 years of service). In June of 1965, Richard and Phyllis welcomed a new addition to their Family their son, Michael. Richard also was a volunteer fireman for the town of Washburn for 25 years. After retiring, Richard and Phyllis spent the winters in Dundee, Florida, enjoying the warm weather.
Richard is survived by his wife of 59 years, Phyllis; and his son, Michael (Janice) of Lake Wales, Fla. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces. Richard was predeceased by one brother, Avery; and three sisters, Alta, Pearl and Claudene.
A memorial service was held November 29, in Dundee, Florida, with Paster Mark Hodges presiding.
