Three Aroostook County runners had brilliant showings at the Philadelphia Marathon, held Nov. 22, 2015.
Richard Hoppe of Portage, Don Audibert of Fort Kent and Kimberley Wright of Mapleton were among the 11,000 registered participants and all three finished in the top five of their respective age divisions.
Hoppe came in with a time of 3 hours, 27 minutes and 36 seconds to take fourth out of 124 in the 60-64 year-old age group.
Audibert had a finishing time of 3:30:54, good for fifth in the same division.
Wright crossed the line in 3:35.53, which was second out of 97 females in the 55-59 category.
