CARIBOU: Audubon Christmas Bird Count in Caribou area, coordinated by Aroostook Birders. Groups will meet at 6:45 a.m. at Tim Hortons on Bennett Drive.
PRESQUE ISLE: Open house at Civil Air Patrol Squadron 033 of Caribou and Presque Isle, at the operations center, 995 Missile Drive in Presque Isle, from 10 a.m.-12 noon. A ceremony recognizing cadets will be held at 10:15.
Sunday, Dec. 20
CARIBOU: “Heart of Christmas” benefit concert, 3 p.m. at the Caribou Performing Arts Center, with all proceeds benefiting Homeless Services of Aroostook. Cost: $10 for adults, $5 for students 18 and under. Collection box available for toy donations for children at the shelter.
Saturday, Dec. 26
CARIBOU: The Caribou Historical Center and Museum will be open from 12-4 p.m. Stop by and check out recent acquisitions, investigate Caribou’s history or browse. Location: 1033 Presque Isle Road. All are welcome.
