HOULTON, Maine — With Christmas fast approaching, organizers of the Toys for Tots campaign are hoping the donation boxes located around the area are quickly filled with gifts.

The southeast Aroostook County Toys for Tots bureau includes the towns of Mars Hill, Blaine, Bridgewater, Monticello, Littleton, Houlton, Hodgdon and Danforth. Toys will be distributed to local children in need through local nonprofits and school districts. Toys may also be requested through the Toys for Tots website.
