Pets are family, too

Once again, it’s that time of year when everyone is in better spirits, one way or the other. It’s a time of giving and receiving, friendship, caring and Christ. Family and friends come together and celebrate. Please don’t forget, your pets are your family, too.

They do have a sense of what is happening and pick up on everyone’s feelings, so when you’re out there looking for the perfect gifts, don’t forget them. They will also feel like they are so special when they get something for Christmas.

Something else we should let everyone know: We will no longer be referred to as Certified Animal Control. We do not contract with any towns and do not expect or see it in our future to do so. We will be considered as associates with Maine’s Animal Control Association.

We will also stay up to date on what’s happening in our state and communities. We will not, however, attend training classes every year to keep our certification. Don’t worry, we will still continue to help everyone in any way we can. We are going over ideas for helping others and their animals in need, and would like anyone with ideas to contact us by phone, email or Facebook if you would like to help or have an idea.

May everyone enjoy and have a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year, from all of us to all of you!
