The lack of snow and unseasonably warm temperatures has caused the cancellation of the first alpine meet of the season, which was scheduled for this Saturday. The meet was originally slated to take place at Bigrock in Mars Hill and was changed to Lonesome Pine Trails in Fort Kent, but neither venue has viable conditions to host.
