LITTLETON — Roberta “Sissy” Silliboy, 78, passed away Dec. 21, 2015 at local hospital surrounded by her family. She was born Oct. 6, 1937 in Houlton, the daughter of Ivan and Viola (Hanning) Flewelling.

Sissy grew up in Houlton and attended local schools. She met Joseph Silliboy and married him at the age of 18. They moved to Littleton where she raised her eight children and two grandchildren. Sissy enjoyed quilting and volunteering at the VFW and working Bingo at the Maliseet Gym. She was an amazing, strong, hardworking lady. She was very unselfish, was a mother to many and loved her grandchildren. Sissy was a good cook.

Sissy is survived by her four sons, Joseph Jr. of Houlton, Donnie and his wife Tammy of Monticello, Ronnie, Sr. and Michael both of Littleton; three daughters, Sue Blanchard of Houlton, Sally York and her husband Shawn of Hermon, Mary Lou Silliboy and her boyfriend Denny of Littleton; special daughters, Alli Crouse and her husband Jerrod of Hermon, Billie Jo Colter and her husband Wayne of Littleton; 21 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; six brothers, Cubby, Tommy, Johnny, Roger and Douglas all of Houlton, and Jerry of NB, Canada; four sisters June Rideout of Nashua, NH, Sandy Hayes, Linda Randall and Millie Hanning all of Houlton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Silliboy, Sr;, her parents; her stepfather, Arthur Flewelling; her son, Harry Silliboy, her granddaughter, Jessica Lynn; her son-in-law, Michael Blanchard; two brothers, Freddy and Charlie; and two infant brothers.

Friends called the Dunn Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 27, 2015 until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Wayne Robertson officiating. Spring interment will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery. A reception will be held following the service at the Maliseet Gym.
