Lions host New Year’s eve event
MAPLETON NEWS
The Mapleton Lions Club will host a New Year’s Eve party on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015 from 8 p.m.-12:30 a.m. at the Mapleton Lions Hall.
There will be a deejay to help everyone sing and dance in the New Year. This is a BYOB event, but snacks will be provided.
Tickets are $20 per person and may be purchased at the door or in advance at the Mapleton Diner, the Town Office or by calling 764-1504. All proceeds will benefit the Mapleton Veterans Memorial.
Prayer Vigil
The West Chapman Advent Christian Church will host a New Year’s Eve prayer vigil from 6-9 p.m. at the church Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015. The public is invited to go to the church during those hours to pray.
