Workshop planned to help spur business growth

CARIBOU, Maine — Local Caribou businesses are invited to attend an interactive workshop to learn more about powering local business growth.

The workshop, free and open to all Caribou businesses, will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. at the Caribou Rec and Wellness Center and is expected to last about an hour and a half.

The City of Caribou has partnered with Buxton, the industry leader in customer analytics, to help participants understand factors such as the categories of retail and restaurants that have unmet demand, the products and services that consumers in the area are most likely to purchase, the most dominant segments in the community, and the lifestyles and attitudes of local consumers.

Preregistration is requested, but not required. The workshop will be led by representatives from Buxton and will include in-depth analytical data about the Caribou market share.

For questions or to pre-register contact City Hall at 493-3324, extension 7, or via email at citymanager@cariboumaine.org.

Buxton helps businesses understand who their customers are, where more potential customers are located and the value of each customer. The company has helped more than 3,000 clients in the retail, restaurant, healthcare, private equity and public sectors guide their growth strategies.
