Mapleton Girl Scouts start cookie campaign
MAPLETON NEWS
MAPLETON, Maine — The annual cookie sale for Girl Scouts of Maine has begun. Girls will be taking orders for cookies now through Jan. 31, 2016.
Customers can expect their orders to arrive in Presque Isle March 5 for delivery sometime thereafter. The same seven flavors will be available again this year. In fact, 2016 marks the 10th anniversary of the Lemonades cookie.
Customers near and far will be able to order online for delivery direct to their homes. Be sure to ask your local Scouts for more information. Gluten-free cookies will be available again this year, but only online. For those customers wishing to support local Scouts, but cannot eat cookies for health reasons, orders will be taken for “Cookie Share,” which will benefit local Area Agencies on Aging and Meals on Wheels programs.
If you live in the Mapleton area and would like to order cookies, please contact Jennifer Buzza at 760-9115.
