The Island Falls Senior Citizens met at the municipal building Jan. 7 with 16 members and two luncheon guests in attendance.
After our traditional potluck luncheon and entertainment by Rich Camire and his guitar, our business meeting was opened by President Rich. On the agenda for this meeting was the biennial election of officers.
Members voted to retain the present slate of officers for the next two years. They are: president, Rich Camire; vice president, Darrell Hartin; secretary, Terry Dwyer; and treasurer, Jeanne Clements.
A new sunshine committee was formed and consists of Louise Butcher, Sherry Hartin, Ellie Peck and Darlene Hartin. After the business meeting was adjourned, we played the bag game.
Members present were Ellie Peck, Jeanne Clements, Susan Scott, Rich Camire, Louise Butcher, Marilyn Noyes, Donna Baker, Mary Pipes, Edith Dwyer, Gloria Noyes, Mary Lawler, Claudette Dietrick, Darlene Hartin, Darrell Hartin, Paige Coville and Terry Dwyer. Luncheon guests were Patti Hartin and Jutta Beyer.
The next meeting will be Jan. 21, and the group will play Bingo.
