Easton Spelling Bee winners to advance
EASTON, Maine — The first round of the 2016 Scripps National Spelling Bee was held at the Easton Junior-Senior High School gymnasium on Jan. 13, 2016.
The Easton School Department extended congratulations to the winner, Mitchell Flewelling, and the runner-up, Camden Michaud.
Flewelling is the son of Loren and Peggy Flewelling. Michaud is the son of Kim Warren.
Both boys now advance and will represent the Easton School Department at the Aroostook County Spelling Bee, which will be held on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016, in the Fox Auditorium at the University of Maine at Fort Kent.
