Eva M. Theriault

     CARIBOU — Eva M. Theriault, 90 passed away peacefully in her sleep January 16, 2016 at Bangor. She was born in Caribou, November 30, 1925, the daughter of the late Hallett and Malvina (Neddrie) Hardaker. She was a 1943 graduate of Caribou High School and on July 28, 1945, she married the love of her life, Clifton Theriault.

     Mrs. Theriault was employed at Doctors  Pharmacy as well as LS Halls for a number of years. She an active 50 year member of the Gray Memorial United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school and Bible study classes for many years, and was also a member of the United Methodist Women’s group. She was also a lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star, and was a member of the Ladies Extension group. Eva enjoyed her family and friends. She enjoyed playing hockey with her grandchildren using her cane as well as watching the Bachelor. Eva was a loving and devoted wife, mother, Grammy and old Grammy and was the best mom ever. Mrs. Theriault was predeceased by her husband, Clifton in 1998, and two brothers and sisters-in- law, Leo and Evelyn Duthie and George and Harriett Duthie. 

     She is survived by her two daughters and husbands: Norma and Gary Bell of Corinth and Millie and Paul Pangburn of Orono; one brother, Richard Hardaker and wife , Heidi of Cape Cod, MA; her grandchildren: Jennifer Bell Neale and husband, Troy, Coleen Bell and husband, Steve Griswold, Paul Pangburn and wife,  Samantha and Jody Burke , who lovingly referred to her as “Eva” and husband, Patrick; her great grandchildren: Hunter, Cole and Parker Neale, Rynn, Shealyn and Trevyn Griswold and Colby and Sophie Pangburn, several nieces and nephews, as well as her four fury friends, PJ, Sanka, Baxter and Webster. 

     Friends called  at the Mockler Funeral Home, 24 Reservoir Street, Caribou 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at  Gray Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Tim Wilcox officiating, assisted by Mary Lou Brown. Following the services all are invited to a time of continued fellowship and refreshments in the church dining hall. Spring interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
