PRESQUE ISLE — A stew night benefitting the Aroostook Teen Leadership Camp program will be held Friday evening, February 5, from 5-7 PM at the Presque Isle Snowmobile Clubhouse.

The menu includes chicken stew, tomato soup, autumn soup, venison chili or taco soup along with a roll, drink and dessert for $6. Grilled cheese sandwiches may also be purchased for an additional dollar each.

The Aroostook Teen Leadership Camp program is a leadership development program of Aroostook Mental Health Services, Inc., and serves Aroostook County teens.

Anyone in grades 6-8 can attend the five-day residential summer camp program, which will be held this year from July 24-28 at Northern Maine Community College. Participants learn leadership skills, attend workshops about teen issues, and develop positive social skills through structured evening activities as well as lasting friendships. The teens have opportunities to develop learned skills by participating in follow-up activities during the school year.

Registration forms will be available in schools at the end of February. For further information, contact Amber Stedt, program coordinator, at 498-6431.
