capture Aroostook League title

CARIBOU, Maine — The Presque Isle High School Wildcats recorded 66.8 points to capture the Aroostook League cheering championship Friday night at Caribou High School.

 

Houlton finished second in the competition with 63.3 points and was followed by Caribou (59.7), Central Aroostook of Mars Hill (55.9), Fort Fairfield (48.1) and Hodgdon (44.4)
Members of the Presque Isle team included Madison Bagley, Jessica Boucher, Michelle Cawley, Gabriella Donovan, Miranda Drost, Emma Kohlbacher, Justine LaBier, Lindsey Lagerstrom, Kiara Lyford, Alexandra Michaud, Kellsey Michaud, Ashley Turner and Victoria Williamson. The team is coached by Jenna Bradstreet and Kelsie Spooner.
Presque Isle also received four awards for best dance team as well as best in motions, jumps and stunts. Fort Fairfield took home the spirit award, and Houlton captured best tumbling honors.
