Postal Service out of touch
To the editor:
To most this might be a high accusation, but it happened to me last Tuesday. Earlier in the month I had gotten a slip in my mailbox that rent for box was due by Jan. 31st.
So on Jan. 19 I went to the front counter to pay the bill, but it rang up $2 more so I questioned clerk. He said it went up that day without any notice to me. I call this deceptive and fraudulent!
You may say well it is only $2, but it is the principle and practice of it. Try being in my shoes — you would be upset. I asked to see the Postmaster but the clerk said she was not in. I think this is pretty poor service to longstanding customer and city resident.
