CARIBOU and LIMESTONE – Joan Marie Johndro, 70, passed away February 1, 2016 at her Caribou residence following a brief illness. She was born in Limestone on September 12, 1945 the youngest of 16 children born to Dolphus and Annie (Page) Johndro. Ms. Johndro was raised in Limestone and was a communicant of the St. Louis Catholic Church. Joan was a graduate of Limestone High School and worked for 29 years in housekeeping at Loring Air Force Base and then for over 20 years at Cary Medical Center.

She is survived by her son, Norman Johndro of Caribou, and daughter, Tina Johndro and her husband, Sheldon Rossignol, two granddaughters, Brandi and Briana Rossignol, all of Connor, one brother, Norman Johndro and wife, Verna of Limestone, one sister, Cecil “Dirl” Stevens of Troy, NY, many nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Rodney Johndro. Ms. Johndro was predeceased by her parents and 13 of her siblings.
