McIntyre gains conference award
Husson senior guard Victoria McIntyre has been named the North Atlantic Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Feb. 7, 2016.
McIntyre helped lead Husson to a 2-0 record as the Eagles sit at the top of the conference standings. The senior from Mars Hill averaged 13 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.5 steals and three assists per game.
The guard scored a game-high 12 points to lead the Eagles to a 73-39 win over Lyndon State. She finished the game with seven steals, six rebounds and four assists.
In an 80-55 win over Johnson State, McIntyre tallied 14 points, nine rebounds, two assists and one block.
