Wildcat hockey team blanked by Windjammers

Camden Hills scored a goal in each period to top the Wildcats, 3-0, on Saturday in Camden.

Perrin Ganter had goals in the first and in the third, while Jonah Cameron scored in the second. James Orne picked up two assists.
Jillian Flynn faced 36 shots in goal for Presque Isle, while, Jet Magri faced 19 shots for the Windjammers. “Although we lost, we put up a better fight than we did against them earlier in the season,” said PI coach Carl Flynn.
Presque Isle had lost that home game, 5-0, way back on Dec. 12.
With a 3-11 record heading into last night’s scheduled home game against the Houlton-based Blackhawks and three games still remaining, the Wildcats find themselves in eighth place in Class B North, with only the first seven teams advancing to the post-season.
Presque Isle plays Hampden, Old Town/Orono and Waterville to cap the season.
