HOULTON — Southern Aroostook Develop Corporation (SADC), in partnership with the Houlton Higher Education Center, will host a FREE QuickBooks workshop at the Education Center in Room 110 located at 18 Military Street on Wednesday, March 16th from 1-3 p.m.
The workshop taught by Josh McLaughlin, who has been running his own construction business since 2012, will provide small business owners with valuable information to help them make the most out of QuickBooks.
“The course is designed to explain what QuickBooks is; how it can be an easy tool to better manage a business and finances; organize all costs, income, expenses, payroll, and bank accounts to make a business run smoother, more efficiently and help track costs,” said Jon McLaughlin, executive director of SADC. “Our goal of providing the fundamental basics on financial tools such as QuickBooks will allow area businesses to grow, increase revenue and generate new jobs which will ultimately help strengthen the economic base of southern Aroostook County.”
