HOULTON — Kenneth E. Thibodeau Sr., 84, died February 12, 2016 at a health care facility in Houlton. He was born February 1, 1932 in Bucksport, the son of Thomas W. & Florence (Sawyer) Thibodeau.

Kenneth grew up in Houlton and attended local schools. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict from 1950-1958. Kenneth enjoyed driving trailer trucks in his early years, worked for Ward Cabin, and started at Smith & Wesson in 1974 until retirement.

He is survived by five children: Betty Fraser of Houlton, Deborah Stewart and her husband Dana of Houlton, Kenneth Thibodeau, Jr. of Presque Isle, Vicky Williams and her husband Craig of Brunswick, and Julie MacLeod and her husband Travis of Belfast; eight grandchildren Robyn Stewart, Heather Hanning, Wendy Morrell, Michael Fraser, Jennifer Little, Danielle Bourre, Audrey Williams and Lucas Rhodes; eleven great grandchildren Dana Michael McFalls, Kiana Stewart, Jacob and Kaycee Morrell, Elizabeth and Adeline Fraser, Hannah, Kaelynn and Nolan Little, Jeremiah Bourre and Odin Williams; two sisters: Vivian Iott of MA, Patty Ward of Bucksport; a brother: Eugene Thibodeau of Caribou; two sisters-in-law Evelyn Nason and Priscilla Dow and her husband Raymond all of Houlton; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Kenneth is predeceased by his parents, his wife Nettie (Carmichael), brother Earl Thibodeau, sisters-in-law Maxine (Carmichael) and Beatrice (Carmichael) and sister, Mazie, and a very special stepfather Mike Mayo.
