MARS HILL — Marjorie M. Weeks, 94, went to be with her Lord on Wed., February 10, at home with her family. She was born on November 11, 1921, the daughter of Vinyl and Iva (Corey) Rees.
Marjorie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an active member of the Mars Hill Full Gospel Assembly church where she enjoyed fellowship with her Heavenly Father and her church friends as well.
Her favorite thing was spending time with her family and was always right in the middle of all activities. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. She was always the life of the party.
She will be greatly missed by her children, Mark and Jolinda Weeks of Stockton, CA, David and Veda Weeks of Mars Hill, and Brian and Jill (Weeks) Cumming of Mars Hill; her beloved granddaughter, Charity and Paul Howlett of Mars Hill; and the loves of her life, Brooke, Madison, Caleb and Abigail Howlett. She will also be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews; and a very special family friend, Tammy Chaffee.
She was predeceased by her husband, Floyd Weeks; a brother, Norman Rees; and sisters, Alene Higgins and Babe Wescott.
