Twenty-six members of the Oakfield Senior Citizens met at the Smoki-Haulers Snowmobile Club for their last February meeting.
After the group enjoyed a delicious potluck luncheon, the business meeting was called to order by President Locke. All reports were read and accepted.
Jeanne Clements was the 50/50 winner.
Those with February birthdays were recognized and “Happy Birthday” was sung.
Earl Doughty entertained with songs and accordion music.
The Agency on Aging in Presque Isle informed members of another scam targeting senior citizens, and urged people to hang up when they get those calls.
Attending were: Arlene Friel, Marie Gillotti, Bob and Delores Locke, Jeanne Clements, Bill Dill, Juanita Wiggins, Verna Boone, Don and Charlotte Marley, Bernice Campbell, Wannetta Townsend, George Barrow, Mildred Gagnon, Earl and Lottie Doughty, Iona Nadeau, Thelma Flowers, Ursula Levesque, David Burpee, Kathleen Boutilier, Ardyth and Ralph Trecartin, Everett and Barbara Doughty, and new member Betty Rousseau.
