ISLAND FALLS – Thelma G. Mitchell, 93, died February 13, 2016 in Bangor. She was born October 16, 1922 in Dyer Brook, the daughter of Freeman & Elsie (Chambers) Boutilier. Thelma enjoyed her family and knitting. She is survived by her loving husband of 75 years, Raymond Mitchell, of Island Falls; a son, Eddie Mitchell of Island Falls; a daughter, Ilene MacArthur of Las Vegas, Nevada; eightgrandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents; a son, Robert and 15 siblings.
