McIntyre gets NAC honor
Husson University senior Victoria McIntyre was named North Atllantic Conference Player of the Week for the week ending Feb. 15, 2016.
The senior from Mars Hill scored 42 points, including the 1,000th of her career. She also posted 11 rebounds in two of the three games — wins over Green Mountain and Castleton
PI hockey team drops finale
The Wildcat hockey team fell in its final game of the season last Tuesday, losing 10-1 at Waterville, the No. 1 team in Class B North.
Freshman Colin Daigle scored off a Jake Stevens assist for PI’s lone goal. Jillian Flynn and Andre Daigle combined to face 42 shots in goal for the Wildcats, who completed the season with a 5-13 record and out of the playoffs.
