Jeanette Currier of New Limerick was presented with a Legislative Sentiment by the Maine Legislature on Feb. 23. The proclamation originated from Tribal Rep. Henry Bear and recognized Currier, and her late husband Bill for their kindness and consistent generosity toward Maliseet Tribal members over a very long period of time. The Legislative Sentiment for Currier was printed in the Official House Calendar.
