Troop to host PI stew night
MAPLETON NEWS
Mapleton Girl Scout Troop 1133 will host their second stew night at the Presque Isle Snowmobile Club on Friday, March 11, 2016 from 5-7 p.m.
Several stews will be available, in addition to rolls and desserts, for $6 per person. Hot dogs will also be available for kids for $1.50.
If you missed ordering Girl Scout cookies or would like some more, there will be a cookie booth that night for cash and carry sales for $4 per box. This evening is a fundraiser for the troop’s fall trip to Florida.
Church luncheon
The Mapleton United Methodist Church will host their monthly luncheon on Friday, March 11th at 11:30, which is a change from their regular schedule. An Easter meal will be served and all are welcome to attend!
Ridge Runners
The Chapman Ridge Runners will hold a soup and sandwich night for members only on Saturday, March 12th at 6PM. Bingo will also be played. For more information, call Sue at 764-1236.
Mapleton alumni
The Mapleton Alumni Association will hold their annual meeting on Wednesday, March 23 at 6:30PM at the home of Gloria Wilcox at 90 Pelkey Road in Mapleton. Planning for the Alumni banquet and other business will be discussed at that time. All Mapleton Alumni are welcome. For more information call Anita at 764-0221.
