Arthur Joseph Byram, 86 years old, passed away March 4, 2016, at his home, with his wife of 65 years Joyce (Gagnon) Byram by his side.

Arthur was born March 17, 1929, to his parents, Leonard and Lena Byram in St. Leonard, New Brunswick, Canada.
Arthur is survived by his wife, Joyce; his daughter, Sandra and her husband, Dennis, his son, Stephen and his wife, Laurie, and his daughter, Susan and her husband, Randy. He was predeceased by his infant daughter. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many close family members and friends who affectionately referred to him as “Papa.” He is also survived by five wonderful brothers and one special sister.
Being one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Papa’s faith was very important to him. He served his Creator faithfully for over 50 years.
Also, very important to Arthur was his family, friends, and neighbors who he helped in so many ways. His favorite pastimes were chopping wood, gardening and spending time in his ministry. He also loved his breakfasts with his family and close friends.
Claude Noiseux will give a memorial talk in his honor at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, at 138 River Street in Southington, CT on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses would be appreciated.
