ISLAND FALLS, Maine — The men’s and women’s leagues at Birch Point Bowling continue to strike things up this winter.
In women’s league play, the standings are: 1, Twisted Sisters, 86-58; 2, Incredibowls, 84-60; 3, Candlepin Mamas, 68-76; 4, Golden Girls, 64-80;; 5, Ball Busters, 61-83; and 6, WWB, 57-87.
The weekly high single and series both went to Donna Crandall, 123 (single) and 329 (series). The year to date high single is a tie between Donna Crandall and Joanie Sides, both 126. The year to date high series belongs to Dede Edkins, 332.
The top six averages are: Chris Lash, 98.6; Dede Edkins, 98; Donna Crandall, 97.3; Sherry Porter, 93.9; Janelle Grant, 90.4; and Beth Edkins, 89.7.
In the men’s league, the standings as of Monday were: 1, Strike Force, 100-28; 2, Intimidators, 90-46; 3, Gutterballs, 78-58; 4, Rough Riders, 72-64; and 5, Sandbaggers, 60-76.
The weekly high single and series both went to Joe Bishop 118 (single) and 336 (series). The team single and series went to Strike Force, 532 (single) and 1,519 (series).
