LITTLETON and MONTICELLO — B. Duane (Skip) Anderson, 73, died unexpectedly March 6, 2016 at his home. He was born August 2, 1943, the son of W. Bernard & Kathryn Gilland Anderson.
Skip attended Littleton Elementary school, graduated in 1961 from Houlton High School and attended Maine Maritime Academy. However, his heart was in The County and farming. He returned home and farmed for many years owning multiple businesses; trucking, furniture restoration and his recent antique endeavor in Monticello. Skip was a dedicated business owner who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, fall at “The B Camp, Warden’s Worry”, snowmobiling, cooking, and was always ready to go! Skip was a personable fellow who enjoyed helping others.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Janice Gustin, brother Joe Anderson, & daughter Kate Anderson. Skip is survived by his youngest sister Nancy Putnam and his children; David Anderson, Liz Leonard, Megan Anderson, Bernadette Anderson, Jeremy Anderson, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
