Aroostook Republican Photo/Christopher Bouchard The Caribou Rotary Club recently donated $1,000 to aid in the renovation of the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery Committal Shelter, which will protect visitors from the elements. Among those in attendance were, from left, Ryan Ellsworth, Kirk Tibbetts, John Kavin, Mark Draper, Karen Chapman, Malissa Dubie, Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery Chairperson Hafford, James Kavin, Lisa Wilcox, Lisa Shaw, Lynn McNeal, Mario Picard and Stephen Mazerolle. Hafford says the project is going well so far and that the Veterans Cemetery is at about 80 percent of its goal. |
