About 25 members and guests of the Oakfield Senior Citizens met at the Smoki-Haulers Snowmobile club for a scrumptious potluck luncheon on March 16.
President Robert Locke opened the business meeting with the Lord’s Prayer and flag salute. All reports were read and accepted. March birthdays were recognized. Delores Locke read an announcement about the Matter of Balance program that is starting next week at the community room of Pine Grove Terrace in Oakfield. Marie Gillotti was the 50/50 winner.
Seth Rousseau from the Akin Bak Farmstead in Merrill was the guest speaker. He explained what the plans for the upcoming growing season would be. Holistic health is the aim of his certified organic vegetables . Shares are available to purchase at this time.
