HOULTON — The Houlton Police Department responded to the following incidents from March 13-19.

 

Sunday, March 13

8:32 p.m. — Off. Janakis responded to Smyrna Street to assist a citizen.

8:46 p.m. — Off. Janakis responded to High Street to investigate a complaint.

11:43 p.m. — Off. Janakis responded to Military Street to investigate suspicious activity.

 

Monday, March 14

10:48 a.m. — Off. Bickford responded to South Street to summons a 32-year-old Houlton female for smoking in a vehicle with a minor under 18 present.

11:55 a.m. — Off. York responded to North Street to investigate a theft/forgery/fraud.

1:44 p.m. — Off. York responded to Military Street to investigate a 911 hang-up.

2:39 p.m. — Off. Bickford responded to Military Street to investigate a complaint.

3:13 p.m. — Off. Bickford responded to Military Street to summons a 22-year-old Houlton male for failing to obtain a driver’s license.

9:49 p.m. — Off. Smith responded to Spring Street to arrest a 43-year-old Houlton male, Johnathan Worthley, on a habitual motor vehicle offender charge.

10:16 p.m. — Off. York responded to Military Street to investigate a motor vehicle accident.

 

Tuesday, March 15

8:06 a.m. — ACO Tingley responded to Military Street for an animal complaint.

9:16 a.m. — Off. Bickford responded to Park Street to investigate a burglary.

1:17 p.m. — ACO Tingley responded to Park Street for an animal complaint.

3:45 p.m. — ACO Tingley responded to B Rd for an animal complaint.

7:18 p.m. — Off. York responded to Columbia Street to investigate suspicious activity.

10:13 p.m. — Off. Smith responded to North Street to investigate suspicious activity.

10:49 p.m. — Off. York responded to North Street to assist another agency.

11:06 p.m. — Off. Smith responded to North Street to arrest a 32-year-old Houlton female, Katie Britton, for operating while license suspended or revoked.

 

Wednesday, March 16

2:36 a.m. — Off. Smith responded to Maliseet Drive to investigate a 911 hang-up.

7:22 a.m. — Off. Quint responded to I-95 to investigate a motor vehicle accident.

7:50 a.m. — Capt. Pelletier responded to Bangor Street to investigate a burglar alarm.

12:38 p.m. — Off. Quint responded to Bangor Street to investigate a motor vehicle accident.

1:27 p.m. — Off. Quint responded to Bangor Street to investigate a disturbance.

3:17 p.m. — Off. Janakis responded to the HPD lobby to investigate suspicious activity.

4:11 p.m. — Off. Quint responded to Hillview Avenue to to summons a 33-year-old Littleton male and a 38-year-old Houlton female for operating after license suspension.

5:01 p.m. — ACO Tingley responded to Court Street for an animal complaint.

7:26 p.m. — Off. Janakis responded to Sugarloaf Court to arrest a 33-year-old Houlton male, Benjamin Weston, for operating under the influence.

9:21 p.m. — Sgt. Wampler responded to Reservoir Hill to investigate a complaint.

4:46 p.m. — Off. Quint responded to North Street to summons a 19-year-old Linneus male for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

5:50 p.m. — Off. Janakis responded to Military Street to assist a citizen.

6:13 p.m. — Off. Janakis responded to Military Street to arrest a 33-year-old Houlton male, Robert Wright III, for a probation violation.

7:08 p.m. — Off. Janakis responded to Mill Street to investigate reported harassment.

 

Friday, March 18

6:47 a.m. — Off. York responded to Water Street to investigate a burglar alarm.

12:42 p.m. — Off. Smith responded to North Street to summons a 39-year-old Houlton male for placing a tattoo on a person without a license.

1:28 p.m. — Off. Smith responded to Court Street for a welfare check.

11:53 a.m. — Off. York responded to Commonwealth Avenue to investigate a civil dispute.

12:23 p.m. — Off. McGuire responded to Ludlow Road to summons a 59-year-old Littleton male for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

4:55 p.m. — Off. McGuire responded to Ludlow Road to summons a 19-year-old Houlton female for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

6:31 p.m. — Off. Smith responded to Ludlow Road to summons a 47-year-old Mattawamkeag female for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer.

Speeding 1-9 mph over the limit: $119.

Speeding 10-14 mph over the limit: $137.

Speeding 15-19 mph over the limit: $185.

Speeding 20-24 mph over the limit: $215.

Speeding 25-29 over the limit: $263.

Speeding 30 over the limit is a criminal speed.
