CARIBOU, Maine — Saturday, April 2, 2016, is Kiwanis One Day. Around the world Kiwanis Clubs will come together for a community service project day to involve both children and bees.
All are invited to join local club members at the Caribou Public Library this Saturday from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m, as Caribou Kiwanis will be hosting a Healthier Planet Party.
The club will provide kids with a pot, seeds and soil to plant their own veggie or flowers for the bees, which they can then take home for the start of their own garden or add to one they may already have.
