UMFK announces dean’s list students
FORT KENT, Maine — Dr. Tanya Sleeper, interim vice president for academic affairs at the University of Maine at Fort Kent, has announced that 270 full-time and 188 part-time students were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2015 semester.
“The dean’s list is a great opportunity to recognize the academic achievement of our students and to attest to their hard work and commitment to their pursuit of higher education. Additionally, the dean’s list is not only a reflection of the caliber of our students but the quality and rigor of academic programs offered at UMFK,” Sleeper said.
Students attaining the honor must be degree candidates, enrolled as a full-time student or a part-time student, and must maintain a 3.2 grade point average on a 4.0 scale for the semester with no grades below a “C.”
Students on the full-time dean’s list from the local area include the following:
From Ashland, Brittany Harris; from Easton, Nicholas Clark; from Fort Fairfield, Kara Barnes, Logan Bubar, Jordan Sirois and Danielle Tracy; from Mapleton, Chelsea Nickerson and Kathryn Sharp; from Portage, Wyatt Condon; and from Washburn, Kaylee Doody.
From Presque Isle, Amanda Bagley, Jessica Baldwin, Nancy Cray, Sara Gilson, Ross Harris, Hillary Hartsgrove, Krystal Kingsbury, Travis Powers, Kayla Richards, Bailee Robichaud, Jesse Rochester, Jonathan Rochester and Maryl Shaw.
Named to the part-time dean’s list were the following:
