Four Mapleton queens to be crowned Saturday
MAPLETON NEWS
The town of Mapleton will crown four new queens at a pageant planned Saturday, April 2, 2016, at 7 p.m. at Presque Isle High School, sponsored by the Class of 2017.
Seeking the Little Miss crown, currently held by Lita Perkins, will be Emily Collins, Rhianna Desjardins, Addyson Haley, Emily Hallett and Madison Oakes.
Rossalyn Buck is the contestant for 2016 Pre-Teen Miss Mapleton. The current title holder is Libby Kinney.
Jaidyn Blake, the present Junior Miss Mapleton, will crown her successor from contestants Alexa Perkins, Meg Casavant and Delaney Alward.
Shaye McHatten will seek the Miss Mapleton 2016 crown, currently held by Michaela Dube.
Tickets are $8 and are available from any contestant or at the door.
Ridge Runners
The Chapman Ridge Runners Snowmobile Club will hold a directors’ meeting on Tuesday, April 5, at 6:30 p.m. at the clubhouse.
On Saturday, April 9, the Club will hold a pizza night for members only, which will include election of officers and a discussion of breakfast fundraisers this summer.

Church luncheon
The Mapleton United Methodist Church will be hosting their monthly luncheon on Friday, April 1, at 11:30 a.m. All are welcome to attend.
