PRESQUE ISLE – Janice Ann Parsons, 82, the daughter of Donald Boyd and Alma Bishop Boyd Foster, died Monday, March 21, 2016, after a long period of declining health. She was born January 15, 1934, at home in Presque Isle.
Janice attended schools in Easton while living with her favorite aunt, Mabel Bishop Shaw. She graduated from Easton High School in 1952. After graduating, Janice worked as a telephone operator in Boston and Presque Isle. She did domestic work in her later years and especially enjoyed working for Dr. Bob and Audrey Somerville and Dr. and Mrs. William O’Brien.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynda Bustard and husband, Joe; grandchildren: Thomas Graham, Rebecca Graham Gossett and Rachel Bustard; and stepsons: George, David and Fred Parsons. She also leaves a special cousin, Gail Vreeland and her husband, Ed who have been her caregivers for many years.
In addition to her parents, Janice was predeceased by her husband, Henry Parsons.
